Wave Treader Prototype Goes On Show At All Energy
Friday, 15 May 2009
A scale prototype of Green Ocean Energy’s Ocean Treader will be on display during the All Energy in Aberdeen later this month. The exhibition and conference is the UK’s largest event devoted to the renewable energy sector.
The scaled 12.5:1 demonstrator model of the wave power conversion device is currently undergoing testing at a wave tank at the New and Renewable Energy Centre (NaREC) and also at the University of Strathclyde and will be on show at our stand throughout the event. The results of these tests are expected to be announced next month.
Green Ocean Energy will also be giving a presentation on the technology behind the wave power conversion device and its expected impact on the renewable sector. This will take place in the VIP area of the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre at 2pm on Wednesday 20th May.
The team will be at stand AB16 and looks forward to meeting you.
