Cadherent
Cadherent is a design and draughting consultancy producing fabrication drawings, 3D models and dynamic animations. Cadherent have supported Green Ocean providing dynamic animations of the Ocean Treader.
NPower Juice Fund
The Juice Fund was created in 2003, with the primary aim of developing new renewable technologies. Npower makes an annual contribution of £10 to the fund for every customer who keeps a Juice renewable energy account open for a year. The money donated to the fund is then reinvested in the development of new renewable technologies. Green Ocean Energy was awarded Juice Npower funding in 2008.
NA-ME
NA-ME is one of the premier providers of research and teaching in Naval Architecture and its related disciplines. NA-ME is a joint department of the Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde and their expertise and facilities have contributed greatly to the development of Ocean Treader to date.
European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC)
Funded by the Scottish Executive and other public sector bodies, EMEC was opened in 2004 and provides multi-berth, purpose-built, open sea test facilities for wave and tidal marine energy converters.

The New and Renewable Energy Centre (NaREC) specialises in concept evaluation, feasibility studies and prototype evaluation and testing for the renewable energy sector.
Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group (AREG)
AREG is an innovative private-public partnership set up in 2001 to help identify and promote new energy opportunities for North East Scotland. AREG is an incorporated company with an independent board, and its wide-ranging projects and activities are supported by Aberdeen's City Growth Fund.
